24-Hour Nursing Care
Corbally House Nursing Home provides professional nursing care 24 hours a day for adults over 18 years of age requiring residential nursing support. We provide short, medium and long-term care and welcome residents with a wide range of healthcare needs, including dementia and other conditions that require ongoing nursing supervision.
Personalised Care Plans
Every resident receives a comprehensive care assessment and an individual care plan within 48 hours of admission. Care plans are developed in consultation with the resident and, where appropriate, their family to ensure personal preferences, medical needs and individual goals are fully considered. Care plans are reviewed regularly and whenever circumstances change, ensuring residents continue to receive the most appropriate care throughout their stay.
Experienced Nursing Team
Our registered nurses and healthcare assistants are highly trained and continually update their professional knowledge through ongoing education and development. Training includes dementia care, person-centred care, safeguarding, infection prevention, management of challenging behaviours and many other aspects of elderly care. Our management team continually strives to maintain the highest standards of quality care within a safe and secure environment.
Clinical, Medical & Medication Support
Residents benefit from a multidisciplinary approach to care. Our nursing team works closely with GPs, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, chiropodists, psychiatric and community nurses, palliative care teams and other healthcare professionals. Specialist eye, ear and skin services are also arranged when required. Medication is carefully monitored and administered by our registered nurses in accordance with doctors’ instructions and current clinical best practice.
Daily Living & Support
Laundry is completed on-site for residents' convenience. Corbally House is a non-smoking facility; however, suitable arrangements can be made for residents who wish to smoke. Medical support is available around the clock through our on-call doctor service, providing reassurance for residents and families that assistance is available whenever required.
